Aid Stations
Aid stations along the race course will be generously stocked with water, electrolyte drinks, ice, race nutrition, fruit, snacks, and a selection of local foods. Hot drinks and hot food will also be available at designated aid stations.
A detailed list of items available at each aid station will be provided in the near future. We cannot guarantee all items will be available at all aid stations, so we recommend HIROSHIMA 100K runners use the mid-race drop bag service and support crews for any necessities.
Please note we are a cup-less event. In an effort to cut down on waste, we will have no drinking cups at aid stations. You will need to carry a cup or hydration pack with you.
First Aid will be available at each aid station, and at the finish.
There will be toilet facilities at each aid station location.
MID-RACE DROP BAGS
For HIROSHIMA 100K runners
A 30-liter mid-race drop bag will be provided to all runners of the HIROSHIMA 100K at check-in. It is recommended that runners use this for personal supplies such as gels, food, fresh socks and other clothing, lubricant, etc, that you feel you might need, in addition to what is available at aid stations.
Mid-race drop bags can be delivered to the drop bag tents at the race start area on Saturday, 10 April 2027 between 3am and 4:30am.
Clearly mark your drop bag sticker provided in your race pack.
If you would like to add more marking to your bag, we suggest using a permanent marker pen with:
- Surname
- Race number
- Location
HIROSHIMA 100K runners can access their Mid-Way Drop Bag at AS5 Nabara. Drop bags will be lined up in numerical order. Any bags without a name clearly written/visible name and race number will be placed at the end of the number range.
Please return your drop bag to the used drop bag area before you leave the aid station. The bags will be transported and waiting for you at the finish.
FINISH LINE DROP BAGS
All Distances
Every runner is encouraged to check in a personal bag containing a change of clothing, etc, which they can retrieve after they finish, in the designated area in the start area before their race start. This also allows you to have something warm to wear before the start of the race.
For HIROSHIMA 50K runners, finish line luggage can be left in the designated area near the start line on Saturday, April 10, between 6am and 7:30am.
For HIROSHIMA 25K runners, finish line luggage can be left in the designated area near the start line on Sunday, April 11, between 8am and 8:30am.
