The mandatory gear list contains what we believe is the absolute minimum to keep you safe during the event. If you would normally take something extra on a run of this duration, you should still take it.

| 6 | Jacket with hood and overpants for bad weather in the mountains. It must be made of a waterproof (Minimum recommended: 10,000 Schmerber) & breathable(e.g. OutDry RET ≤ 13) membrane. - The jacket must have an integrated hood or one attached by the original system designed by the manufacturer. - Seams must be sealed - The jacket must not have sections fabrix which are not waterproof, but air vents fitted by the manufacturer (under-arm, in the back) since they do not damage in any obvious way the impermeability are accepted. - The runner must judge whether, accourding to the aforementioned criteria, the jacket complies with the regulations and therefore is suitable for bad weather in the mountains. However, during a check, the race director's opinion on the matter shall prevail. |

GEAR CHECK FOR ALL DISTANCES
All runners in HIROSHIMA 100K, HIROSHIMA 50K & HIROSHIMA 25K is responsible to ensure they have all the required mandatory gears before starting the race.
Runners will have their mandatory gears checked randomly at selected aid stations on route. Runners are to abide to the instructions by the officials at the aid stations.
If you are missing any item you will not be allowed to continue until the item is replaced. You will also receive a time penalty.
Athletes must carry the mandatory gear at all times during the race. No mandatory gear = no race!
