Official Tour

As the official tour operator for Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) in Japan, LUCTUS brings over 10 years of operating experience. Today we run tours for By UTMB races around the world throughout the year, supporting many Japanese trail runners as they take on the global stage. We also offer inbound tours with multilingual support for international runners racing in Japan.

Many of our tour staff are active trail runners who compete themselves. Beyond simply arranging accommodation, we provide race guiding, aid support, and other services tailored to the real needs of trail runners. Our multilingual staff — including English, French, and Chinese speakers — accompany guests on-site to provide attentive support for runners joining from overseas.

Tour guests receive race preparation information (in Japanese and English) through a dedicated website. In addition, we hold an online pre-race briefing (in Japanese and English) to clearly walk you through the course, mandatory gear, and race-day logistics.

LUCTUS offers on-site accommodation packages with convenient access to the race venue. Package guests also receive priority support for bib pickup and complementary information on mandatory gear at no additional cost, so you can focus on arriving at the start line in your best condition.

We also provide a shuttle service from Hiroshima Airport and Hiroshima Station, so even first-time visitors to Hiroshima can travel to the venue with peace of mind. For runners traveling from afar, we offer optional tours as well. You can add sightseeing packages exploring the city of peace, Hiroshima, and the increasingly popular Setouchi (Seto Inland Sea) region.

For the 50km and 100km categories, LUCTUS also provides its own dedicated aid support. With refreshments at aid stations served by our dedicated staff and additional drop-bag handling, joining the tour helps you deliver your best performance on race day. This service is highly valued by solo runners who do not have their own private support crew.
